What makes us different?

An Exciting Time to Join!

Put simply, we will help you to succeed and make sure that you are supported for the entire time you are with us. But these are some of the things that make us stand out from the other offers in our area:

  • In 2026, we moved into our brand new £40 million rebuild, with a dedicated library and custom-designed sixth form spaces.
  • Excellent results – in 2025, our 70 Year 13 students achieved 115 A*/A and B grades between them!
  • We treat each applicant as an individual and look at their strengths. This means you can study at level 3 in your favourite subjects at the same time as retaking English or maths GCSE if you need to.
  • We have a wide range of subjects for you to choose from, and these can be vocational and/or A level – that means your study programme can be tailored to you and allows you to explore your interests.
  • We have a highly effective induction period in September where students can change subjects if their interests or career goals have changed.
  • We have unrivalled high quality careers and futures support from our highly qualified team to help you achieve your goals, whether that is university, apprenticeships or employment.
  • We treat our students with respect and high expectations with no dress code, flexible home study opportunities and access to EPQ and wider personal development opportunities.
  • Our Football Academy Scholars are allowed to choose from the full range of level 3 courses that we offer - they are not restricted to studying sport.

Wrotham School Sixth Form is a Level 3 Provider. This means that all of our courses will earn you UCAS points and are accepted by universities, higher and degree apprenticeships, and employers.

EXCITING NEWS: From September 2026, we are offering a level 2 pathway for students that need to boost their GCSEs before they can start level 3 study.

These vocational courses are specifically designed for students aged 16+. The pathway lasts one year for students who have not yet qualified for Level 3 study. Students would then have the option to stay on to level 3 study at our sixth form or to apply elsewhere.

  • If you are retaking GCSE English language AND GCSE Mathematics, you must choose TWO level 2 courses.
  • If you are retaking either GCSE English language OR GCSE Mathematics, AND you don't qualify for level 3 study, you will take all three.

Options include:

  • CTEC Digital Media
  • NCFE Sports Coaching
  • BTEC Certificate in Work Skills
