About us
Welcome to Towers School and Sixth Form Centre.
Towers Sixth Form offers a well-rounded educational experience, providing students with a variety of academic routes: as well as A Level, BTEC we also offer a Level 2 pathway that consists of GCSE and Functional Skills English and Maths and the King’s Trust Certificate.
The focus at Towers is not just on academics. We offer personal development through our tutor curriculum and an engaging enrichment programme. During their time with us, students have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills by applying for the student leadership team or the peer mentor programme. Students also have the opportunity to be ambassadors in various areas, such as subject specialties, sports, reading, young carers, arts and culture, or as peer mentors.
Supporting students’ future goals is a priority at Towers. From the start, the team focuses on helping students define and achieve their Post-18 destinations. Whether it’s university, apprenticeships, or employment, students have access to a comprehensive UCAS programme, local apprenticeship fairs, and a dedicated Careers Centre for guidance and support.
With over 220 students enrolled, each one follows a tailored programme to meet their individual aspirations, making Towers Sixth Form a popular choice for young adults looking to build a strong foundation for their future.

What our students have to say:
“I have greatly appreciated how kind the teachers are and how much help that they offer, if it wasn't for the support from staff of the 6th form then I wouldn't enjoy it nearly as much as I am. While the work is hard, it's certainly worth it for the conversations and things that you learn. It's a super friendly environment and even as someone who is extremely introverted I have found that I have been able to enjoy the company of others.”
Student - Year 13
“It’s a big change however you have much more freedom, learn new things and being able to choose your own subjects will help with your motivation.”
Student - Year 13
“Coming to the UK as an overseas student was hard, so I was extremely happy to be accepted by Towers School to join the Sixth Form. The teachers are all patient and nice with me both in and out of classrooms. The facilities are well maintained and equipment is always available for studies.”
Student - Year 13
"I enjoy being treated my age and like a young adult, the teachers are more relaxed in a way now that we are older."
Student - Year 12
"I have been enjoying the elaborative connection to my teachers with increasingly better access to communication as well as the smaller classroom sizes."
Student - Year 12
