Entry Requirements: - Five GCSEs at Grade 4 or above, including English, and the individual subject entry requirements.

How many subjects can you choose: - You MUST choose 3 subjects (these can be mixture of A-level or BTEC's). Please DO NOT choose anymore than 5 subjects.

Please note that if you are intending to study a course at Invicta Grammar School as part of your course choices, you can only study one Invicta course (maximum) alongside two Valley Park courses.

AS and A level Mathematics course is for those students who both succeeded in and enjoyed GSCE mathematics and wish to pursue mathematics to Higher Education, be that at degree level or within a social or physical science.

COURSE CONTENT - WHATS NEW?

There will no longer be the option to study applied modules such as mechanics, statistics or decision mathematics. All A-Level mathematics will study 1 core unit, which encompasses pure mathematics (66%) and a mixture of statistics and mechanics (33%). Decision mathematics is not taught.
