Course Details
This course is suitable for students who wish to specialise in Finance and Accounts and secure employment in this area.
This course is perfect if you’ve already completed the Level 2 Certificate in Accounting, and want to develop your existing accounting skills at an intermediate level.
The Level 3 Diploma in Accounting introduces you to more complex accounting tasks, such as maintaining cost accounting records and the preparation of reports and returns:-
- Accounts Preparation I
- Accounts Preparation II
- Costs & Revenues
- Indirect Tax
- Spreadsheet Software
- Professional Ethics in Accounting and Finance
This course includes the opportunity to take part in an industry placement in a sector relevant to your qualification and study programme. The placement will take place 1 or 2 days per week on the days when you are not in college studying. Industry placements are designed to give you the skills to start work at the end of your studies, progress into an apprenticeship, or to add to your UCAS statement.

Entry requirements
Successful completion of the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting.
