Agricultural Engineering is one of the most in-demand industries and can lead to long and successful careers taking you across the globe. Through practical experience in the College workshops, as well as working on machinery restoration projects for local farmers, students gain an in-depth understanding of the skills they need to work within the Agricultural engineering industry. Minimum of 4 GCSEs grades 9 - 4 or equivalent (Level 2 Diploma), which must include GCSEs in English AND Maths 9 - 4 Grade or equivalent (Level 2 Functional Skills). You should also have a keen interest in the subject and demonstrate a commitment to the curriculum area.

Upon successful completion of the Diploma (two-year programme) you will be able to progress onto an Apprenticeship or a higher-level qualification including Foundation Degrees and or a BSc. Students also progress into employment within the industry within roles such as machinery operatives, engineering technicians and mechanical engineers.
