Automotive Level 2 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

Our one-year Level 2 course will provide you with the essential skills and knowledge to become a vehicle technician. You will develop your understanding and knowledge of vehicle maintenance and learn how to identify non-complex system faults. You will be taught by industry professionals who will combine workshop-based training on our range of cars with the necessary theory needed for modern mechanics. Improve your understanding of vehicle servicing requirements, technical requirements and practices required when carrying out servicing to industry standards.

Your assessments will be made up of 50% practical, 25% coursework and 25% exams.

On completion of the course you can progress onto the Level 2 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles. There are a number of career opportunities available to you after finishing this course, for instance you may find roles in the industry working as a semi-skilled mechanic, working in vehicle sales, or perhaps join an apprenticeship or management training scheme.
