Course Summary

The BTEC Extended Certificate aims to provide an introduction to the sector. It is for learners who are interested in learning about the health and social care sector as part of a balanced study programme. The mandatory content of the qualification incorporates topics relevant across the health and social care sector and will include; Human Lifespan Development, Working in Health and Social Care and Meeting Individual Care and Support Needs. This is an exciting course which will give students the unique opportunities to make a real difference to the community and to be part of the next generation of Health and Social Care.
