Course Summary

The Tech Award in Enterprise is for learners who want to acquire sector-specific applied knowledge and practices through vocational contexts by studying enterprises, entrepreneurs, customers, competitors, the external environment, business planning and presenting, marketing and finance. The qualification enables learners to develop their transferable skills, such as researching, planning, making decisions and judgements, and financial literacy using realistic vocational contexts, and personal skills, such as creativity and innovation, time management, reviewing, communication and planning through a practical and skills-based approach to learning and assessment.

Component 1: Exploring Enterprises (33.3%)

Component 2: Planning and Presenting a Micro-Enterprise Idea (33.3%)

Component 3: Marketing and Finance for Enterprise (33.3%)


Entry requirements

Learners who generally achieve at Level 1 across their Key Stage 4.
