Course Details

Unit 1 – The Business Environment (Exam)

Unit 2 – Working in Business (Exam)

Unit 3 – Business Decisions (Exam)

Unit 4 – Customers and Communication (Coursework)

Unit 5 – Marketing and Market Research (Coursework)

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Units 1, 2 and 3 are undertaken in year 12 and are examination units.

Units 4 and 5 are coursework units and is first internally marked and moderated by your teachers, this is then sent off to OCR who externally moderate and bank the marks achieved.

Entry requirements

Grade 4 in Business OR Grade 4 in English if new to subject.

Students will gain knowledge on various aspects of Business Studies required in the workplace if one wishes to pursue a career within the industry or set up your own business.

This course will allow you to continue your studies at university and undertake a degree in accountancy, business management and/or business administration.
