A two year full time course leading to GCSE certification. The course will focus on 'Product Design' using ICT, CAD and DTP. The second year of the course is mainly spent on the designing and making of a single coursework task

Not open to external candidates

You could take this course to prepare for advanced level courses such as an A/AS Level in Design and Technology or you may need to strengthen your grades by completing a foundation or intermediate vocational qualification. With further training, you could go into a job related to Design and Technology and Electronics such as an Technician, Electrician or Design Engineer. You could also go straight into employment and do further training or part time study with the support of your employer.
