You will investigate areas such as fashion design, garment construction, textile techniques, surface pattern, fabric manipulation, fashion illustration, and styling, enabling you to develop a distinctive creative identity and professional portfolio.
Through a range of industry-inspired projects, you will explore the design process from initial concept through to final outcomes, developing the skills required for progression into higher education and the fashion and textile industries. You will gain inspiration from contemporary designers, historical and cultural influences, exhibitions, and live briefs, while having the opportunity to showcase your work in the department's end-of-year exhibition.
