This qualification is intended for those wanting to gain the skills and knowledge necessary to enter the electrical industry. You will study the following units: > Health and Safety > Communication within Building Services Engineering > Principles of Electrical Science > Installation of Wiring Systems and Enclosures > Electrical Installations Technology. You'll practice your skills in our well equipped workshops, and be guided on your next steps by our industry experienced tutors. We'll also help you to improve your English and maths skills too - they're so important in the industry so you can communicate with others, and cost for materials and projects! Your industry placement will be key to learning more about the industry, as well as practicing the skills you've learnt in College in a real life setting.

A minimum of 4 GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above, including English and Maths (Electrical L2), on course for 25-26 minimum of 90% attendance, 95% punctuality, achievement of all elements of the study programme and good behaviour.

You could progress onto the Level 3 Advanced Technical Diploma in Electrical Installation or an apprenticeship.
