Course Summary

If you enjoy reading a wide range of texts, literary analysis and linking these to other theories and your own interpretations then you will enjoy this course. You will deepen your appreciation and understanding of English literature, including its changing traditions.

Course Details

Study of 6 literary texts and a range of non-literary bodies of work with a variety of inquiries, comparison and tasks. They will develop essay skills, presentation techniques and strategies for research and academic practice.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

This course is made up of 60% examination and 40% coursework.

Entry requirements

Grade 6 in English Language or English Literature GCSE; Grade 4 in Maths GCSE; and at least 3 other qualifications at grade 4 or above.
