Course Summary
This course allows you to engage in a broad investigation of the children's care and education sector (0-8 years). You will understand how children develop, your role in supporting development through play and learning as well as keeping children safe
Course Details
This course provides specialist training covering occupational and industry-specific skills.
You will study the following units:
- Children's Development
- Keeping Children Safe
- Play and Learning
- Research and Reflective Practise in an Early Childhood Setting
You will also complete some work placement in an Early Years Setting.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
There are two externally set and marked units and two internally marked units
Entry requirements
Five GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including Maths and English at grade 4.
