Course Summary

Engineering and manufacturing is one of the UK’s broadest sectors, accounting for over 19% of all UK employment. This means there is a wealth of opportunity in the sector and this innovative programme will give students the practical and technical skills to build an exciting and rewarding career in the Engineering sector. Equivalent to three A-Levels, this two-year programme has also been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses, so students can rest assured that the content is relevant and up to date. Students spend 20% of their time on an industry placement, giving them vital experience in the world of work and a C.V. that is appealing to future employers. The student's employer may also provide them with that invaluable first reference, whilst a number of our students have also been offered full time contracts following successful Industry Placements.
