English Language equips students with a huge range of imperative workplace skills:

- Clarity and concision of written and spoken communication

- The ability to confidently modify and structure key forms of writing such as letters, speeches etc.

- The ability to decode and comprehend unfamiliar texts and vocabulary

- An awareness of language manipulation and persuasion

English Language is a key requirement for a huge range of career pathways who may not consider you without a passing grade in English Language. Indeed, many employers will use your English Language grade to gauge your aptitude in written and spoken communication before they ever meet you.
