Course Summary

The course features a range of poetry, written across diverse time periods, contemporary novels and drama texts, as well as unseen poetry and prose. There is also a coursework element which allows students to choose their own texts for close study.

Course Details

You will study: · 1 Shakespeare play · 2/3 Novels · 1 drama text · Poetry · Your own choice of texts for the coursework, which will be a comparative study.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

2 examination papers (80%) and 1 NEA worth 20% of final grade.

Entry requirements

Minimum Grade 7s in both GCSE English Literature and English Language respectively.
