Course Summary
THE EPQ MUST BE CHOSEN ALONG WITH THREE OTHER LEVEL 3 COURSES.
The Extended Project is suitable for students who are independent and self-motivated learners as this course requires them to direct and manage their own project and deadlines. It is essential that the students have a passion for the topic that they decide to base their project around.
The course helps develop independent research, extended writing and project management skills and teaches transferable skills for education or the workplace. Students gain exactly half the A Level value for UCAS points on the new tariff scale, making the qualification more valuable than a new AS Level. The Extended Project is a very popular qualification with universities.
