Level 3 - 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or higher including English and Mathematics.
Transition - 5 GCSEs at grade 3 or higher. Either English or Mathematics must be at a grade 4.

Why study this subject?
You will be able to explore the key elements of film form including cinematography, mise en scence , editing and sound. You will also study the contexts of your chosen films and what was happening when the film was made. What can the film tell us about history and society at the time?

There is a creative production element which allows you to produce either a Film Extract (video) or Fil Extract screenplay (with storyboard) Evaluate Analysis
