General Sixth Form Entry Requirements: - Minimum 4 GCSE passes at Grade 4 and above to study BTEC or vocational courses; 5 GCSE passes at 4 and above to study A level/BTEC combination; 5 GCSE's at Grades 5 and above to study straight A Levels.

The programme is designed to help students achieve excellence both on and off the pitch, developing their football ability while supporting strong academic performance.

Students receive:

How will it be delivered and assessed?
Entry requirements
Applicants will be invited to a football trial before the course starts.
If you have 4 or more GCSE at grades 9 - 4 this course can be selected, in adition to 3 other academic qualifications or vocational subjects.
Your next steps...
You could take this course with a related GCE or other qualification to prepare for further education in areas of sport such as BTEC Higher Nationals in Sport Management or related degree programmes. You could also go on to study an NVQ vocational qualification in Sports Development, which could be work-based. With further training, you could go into a job related to sport such as a Sport Coach, Trainer or Gym Instructor . The course provides a work related programme of study so you could go straight into a job as it helps you develop the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers are looking for, especially in the sport and exercise sector.
