Course Summary
You may only select this course if you have chosen the Academic & Vocational Pathway.
This course is designed to support students who are resitting with the knowledge and skills to be able to retake the maths GCSE papers.
Course delivery
During this course, you will be taught with range of engaging and personalised lessons. Each lesson will typically have a starter activity developing recall and confidence, a topic and exam style questions. Strengthening and extending tasks are provided for individual study time recalling topics from the previous term.

• Algebra
• Ratio, proportion and rates of change
• Geometry and measures
• Probability
• Statistics
How will it be delivered and assessed?
100% external assessment.
The qualification consists of three equally weighted written examination papers at Foundation (grades 1-5) or Higher (grades 4-9).
- Paper 1 is a non-calculator assessment
- Paper 2 and Paper 3 are calculator assessments
Entry requirements
Learners do not need any other qualifications as pre-requisites to entry
