Course Summary

Our Geography curriculum provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the physical and human processes that shape our world, exploring dynamic landscapes, environments, and the vital relationship between people and the planet. Through the study of pressing contemporary issues—such as climate change, urbanisation, globalisation, and sustainability—students learn to think critically, question geographical theories, and evaluate evidence. Practical skill-building is central to the course: students develop expertise in mapping, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and independent research methodologies, including field data collection, analysis, and effective communication. Ultimately, the course fosters responsible, informed global citizens while establishing a strong academic foundation for higher education and a wide range of future careers.
