Course Summary
This course encourages you to apply geographical knowledge, theory and skills to the world around you. In turn this will enable you to develop a critical understanding of the world’s people, places and environments in the 21st century
Course Details
You should be able to develop both knowledge and understanding of contemporary geographical concepts together with transferable skills that will enable you to progress to higher education and a range of employment opportunities. This course draws on both physical and human geography, explores people-environment interactions and includes fieldwork at a local level to enable you to pose enquiry questions.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
This course comprises of three units all of which are mandatory and two of which are assessed externally.

Assessment Non-exam assessment - internally assessed
Entry requirements
English Lit / Lang 5+ Maths 4+
GCSE 5+ Geography. Candidates without a Level 2 qualification in Geography will be considered upon interview.
