Course Summary

This course is a level 3 BTEC. Depending on the number of units that are completed over the course you will achieve either a Certificate or a Subsidiary Diploma

Course Details

The certificate covers 3 units of work; Communication in Health and Social Care, Health, Safety and Security in Health and Social Care, Anatomy and Physiology in Health and Social Care. To obtain the sub dip, three further units need to be completed; Equality, Diversoty and Rights in H&SC, Development Through the Lifestages and Physiogical disorders.

Entry requirements

5 GCSE's at C or above to include English, Maths and Science. A BTEC Level 2 in H&SC would be advabtageous, but not essential.
