Course Summary

This course focuses on the health, social care and early year’s sector. It requires learners in the first year to sit one written exam and complete one piece of coursework. If you decide to continue this course into the second year, you will complete a further one exam and one piece of coursework.

Course Details

You will cover a wide range of health and social care topics which will include the human lifespan development, working in health and social care, anatomy and physiology, meeting individual support needs, promoting public health and many more.

How will it be delivered and assessed?

You will be assessed in a number of ways. It will require you to sit two exams over the two years and two pieces of coursework.

5 GCSE’s grade 4 or above, including English
