OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care

Studying the Extended Certificate will provide learners with the opportunity, through applied learning, to develop skills, knowledge and understanding required by the Health and Social Care sector as well as some academic skills to support further learning.

Equivalent to 1 A-Level.

Unit 1 Building positive relationships in health and social care

Unit 2 Equality, diversity and rights in health and social care

Unit 3 Health, safety and security in health and social care

Unit 4 Anatomy and physiology for health and social care

Assessment:

58% external, 42% coursework

Entry Requirements:

5 x GCSE grades 4-9

A grade 5 in English language and Science is required
