Course Summary

As part of our continued commitment to provide every student with the right pathway to succeed, we are proud to introduce our new Level 2 provision at Saint George’s Sixth Form.

This pathway is designed for students who are ready to continue their education beyond Year 11 at Saint George’s, but have not yet met the entry requirements for a Level 3 curriculum. The Level 2 pathway provides a focused, supportive route that enables students to strengthen and build on the skills gained at GCSE and make significant progress in preparation for further education at Level 3 after one year.

Students on the Level 2 programme will study five carefully selected subjects that balance core skills in English, maths, and personal development with applied learning in specialist areas. Together, these courses are designed to help students develop the knowledge, resilience, and independence needed to take their next steps with confidence.

Our goal is simple: to ensure that every student leaves Saint George’s with a clear direction, recognised qualifications, and a sense of achievement. This new provision reflects our belief that success looks different for every young person — and that with the right support and opportunities, everyone can thrive.
