Creative Digital Media Production is an exciting, handson course aimed at students who have an interest in practical media and working in the creative media sector.

Students will complete a wide range of projects that could eventually lead to further educational study or employment in; Film and Television, Sound Editing and Recording .

This practical course teaches students not only how to create a final product but also the stages that lead up the creation of a final product through research tasks and written assignments.

A wide range of units are to be completed that give the student knowledge in the following creative media areas:

Film Production

Single Camera Techniques

Film Editing

Sound Editing

Sound Recording

5 GCSEs at 4 or above

Former media students have progressed to university to study a wide range of subjects and many now have successful careers in media related employment including news reports, TV producers, journalists and Public Relations. However, it's also a great course if you don’t want to go onto university, because it helps you develop skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers across lots of industries are looking for, including effective communication, project management and teamwork.
