Course Details
Please be aware that all of our Motor Vehicle courses for the North Kent College, Tonbridge campus from September 2022, will be delivered at our Hadlow College campus in our brand new Motor Vehicle workshops. Prepare for a career in the Motorcycle Industry as either a technician or associated Motor Industry employment. You will discover how to meet health and safety requirements in the workshop and learn how to: * Carry out routine motorcycle maintenance * Remove and replace units and components relating to engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, brakes and electrical and electronic systems You will be assessed by practical and written tasks and externally set examinations. Supported work experience is arranged with your tutor.

Entry requirements
You will need four GCSEs at Grades D/3 or above, including English and Maths. Alternatively, a Level 1 Diploma in Motor Vehicle Maintenance with D/3 GCSE in English and maths or functional skills Level 2.
