Course Details
Please be aware that all of our Motor Vehicle courses for the North Kent College, Tonbridge campus from September 2022, will be delivered at our Hadlow College campus in our brand new Motor Vehicle workshops. This Level 1 Course is a competence-based scheme, with some examinations, covering all aspects of the repair and servicing of road vehicles. Units include: Health and Safety The Vehicle Systems Welding Assembling and Dismantling Auto Electrics Functional Skills within Industrial Studies Our Study Programme includes opportunities for you to develop your English and Maths skills as required. You may be expected to complete either functional skills or GCSE qualifications as part of your course depending on your GCSE results.

Entry requirements
A Good school report. Minimum 4 GCSEs at Grade 3 or above, including Maths, English and Science, or equivalent OR Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - Entry Level and Entry Level 3 in English and Maths. In addition, all students will be interviewed.
