The level 3 Extended National Diploma in Business has been designed as a full-time two-year programme. The qualification aims to provide a wide-ranging study of the sector broken down into 2 distinct years of study offering students the opportunity to develop a genuine interest in business and focussed career pathway. The first year of the programme will focus on getting to grips with the foundations of business studies and develop knowledge, understanding and skills in the following areas: ? Marketing ? Finance ? Event Management ? Recruitment ? Law In the second year of the programme students are invited to follow a specialist pathway in either Marketing or Human Resources Management. These pathways will focus on specific content related to employment within the sector or progress onto a higher education programme or Apprenticeship. These specialist pathways are enriched with industry links and employability opportunities to enhance progression opportunities and develop the skills required of the industry. In the year 2 Marketing pathway you will study: - Market research - Relationship marketing - Branding - Creative promotion In the year 2 Human Resources Management pathway you will study: - Training and development - Employment law - Teambuilding in business - Investigating corporate social responsibility (CSR)

Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and maths at grade C/4 or above.

Successful completion may allow students to progress to an HND or degree in business, or to find employment within a wide range of sectors.
