Course Summary
Equip yourself with the tools for success by enrolling on this introductory course in engineering.
At level 1 you will learn basic skills in a wide variety of areas including welding, bench fitting, hand tools, effective communication, and health and safety within the engineering sector.
You will also study towards the Certificate in Engineering in addition to the PEO programme.
Entry requirements
A minimum of four GCSEs at grade 2/F or above, including English or maths.
Your next steps...
Successful completion of the course could lead to the related PEO level 2 programme or the level 2 Diploma in Electronic/Electrical Engineering. Some students are also taken on by employers as engineering apprentices.
