Vocational pathway - Select minimum of 3 vocational subjects
IBCP pathway - Select minimum 1 vocational and minimum 2 IB subjects
IBDP pathway - Select only the IBDP option from Block E. We will contact you about subject options
Level 2 pathway -Select either Culinary Skills or Hairdressing
Course Summary
Through studying IB Physics, students gain insight into how scientists investigate and communicate ideas, with a strong emphasis on practical experimentation and data analysis.
The course aims to:
Foster curiosity and creativity in a global scientific context.
Build a solid foundation in physics concepts, methods, and techniques.
Develop skills to critically analyse and evaluate scientific data.
Encourage awareness of the strengths and limitations of physics in solving real-world problems.
Promote collaboration and clear communication in scientific inquiry.

How will it be delivered and assessed?
Entry requirements
Minimum of five 9-5 grades in GCSE examinations including English and Maths, a grade 6, 6 in Combined Science/Chemistry and a grade 6 in Maths.
