Entry Requirements – At least 5 GCSE passes at grades 9-5 in the new qualifications (or A*- B grade in the old GCSEs) including English (either Literature or Language if both were taken) and mathematics. You must achieve a GCSE grade 7 or higher to study Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry & Physics

Preference on Advanced Level courses will be given to those students securing at least a grade 6 (or grade B in the old GCSE assessment system) in the subject they wish to study.

You could take this course to complement other advanced level courses that may be related to the performing arts or to prepare for the A2 part of an Advanced GCE in Drama and Theatre Studies, which could lead onto higher education within the arts or more general higher education courses. The course offers a distinct subject content which provides you with the skills, understanding and knowledge that many employers from lots of industries are looking for. With further training, you could go into a job related to the performing arts such as working in the Film, Television or Theatre industries. You may also like to look at joining a theatre group to increase your drama and theatre experience. Continue on to the A2 course
