Course Summary
Travel and tourism contribute significantly to the economy in the United Kingdom. In 2021, an estimated £131.5 billion of the country’s gross domestic product was generated, directly and indirectly, by this sector. The importance of travel and tourism will continue to increase as the industry continues to recover from the recent worldwide pandemic. The travel and tourism industry can provide amazing pathways for students to follow post education whether within this country or around the world. Previous students have successful careers within tour operations, transportation, accommodation and an even work upon private and charter yachts in the Caribbean and within the Arctic Circle.
