The travel and tourism industry is one of the biggest and fastest growing industries in the UK.
Course Details
- Travel and Tourism Industry – the travel and tourism industry in the UK is growing and is of major importance to the economy. Learners will develop the skills needed to examine, interpret and analyse a variety of statistics that measure the importance of tourism to the UK.
- Global Destinations – learners will investigate the features and appeal of global destinations.
- Principles of Marketing in Travel and Tourism – Learners focus on how to develop a successful marketing plan for use by travel and tourism organisations to attract and engage customers.
- Events, Conferences and Exhibitions - Learners will develop knowledge and skills in resource and financial planning as they gain an insight into a wide range of events, conferences and exhibitions that are relevant to the travel and tourism industry.

4 GCSE or equivalent grades at 4 or above including a minimum of grade 4 in English
