Course Summary
This level 2 (equivalent to GCSE) qualification will help young people develop the essential skills required to get and keep a job. Employers are always looking for young people with good employability skills, this course will help develop these skills and behaviours.
Students will work with their teachers to identify existing skills, qualities and behaviours that can be transferred to a work environment. They will also identify areas for development and put in place a plan and strategies to turn weaknesses into strengths.
We will help our young people develop a professional CV, covering letter and be able to complete an application effectively. We will also help prepare them for job interviews. We will do all this in a practical and engaging way to help inspire our students to best prepare them for the world of work or apprenticeship.
