Course Summary

Develop core knowledge of science and take part in key experiences needed to prepare you for a range of options at university. In Applied Science, you’ll gain a greater understanding of how systems can be created and sustained, in addition to enhancing your practical, technical, analysis, communication and problem-solving skills.

Course Details

Broaden your understanding of science across Chemistry, Biology, and Physics, focusing on real-world applications. You will explore aspects of Chemistry; Explore key topics like atomic structure, bonding, organic chemistry, equilibrium, kinetics, and the chemistry of life, with special areas including energy, pH, and spectroscopy. Biology; Study molecules, cells, and the processes by which living organisms exchange materials and energy. Physics; Cover essential topics like measurements, particles, waves, mechanics, electricity, thermodynamics, fields, and nuclear physics. In all sciences, you will learn how to use scientific equipment accurately and discover how to collect and interpret data.
