The VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Studies is a substantial vocational qualification for learners seeking a career as a junior beauty therapist. This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 years or over and will support you to gain employment as a beauty therapist. This is a vocational qualification and includes all the required elements to work effectively as a therapist including, mandatory units covering the following: facial skincare, waxing, eyelash and eyebrow treatments including perming, manicure, pedicure, nail art, client care, display and promote stock and health and safety. You will learn through theory and practical sessions and you will undertake written and practical exams. Working on external clientele to complete your practical assessments.

Achievement of an appropriate Level 1 qualification or GCSE grades 4/C and above including English or maths at a grade 4/C or above.

Progression opportunities also exist in the form of specialist VTCT vocationally related qualifications: - Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments - Level 3 Diploma in Make-Up Artistry - Level 3 Diploma in Theatrical, Special Effects and Hair and Media Make-Up - Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology - Level 3 Diploma in Massage Therapy It is possible to progress to Level 3 on successful completion of level 2 and all other elements of your study programme.
