The qualification includes all the required elements to work effectively as an advanced hairdresser/stylist including: health and safety; client consultation; advanced cutting; styling and colouring techniques and selling products and services to clients. bridal hair styling and hair colour correction. You will learn through theory and practical sessions and you will undertake written and practical exams. Working on external clientele to complete your practical assessments.

Five GCSEs at grade C/4 or above including English and maths at grade C/4 or above.

Whilst this qualification's primary purpose is to prepare learners for employment as a senior hairdresser/stylist, learners may choose to further develop their knowledge and skills by undertaking advanced specialist qualifications at Level 4, including: - VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Salon Management - VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Salon Management - VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Specialist Hair and Scalp Services - VTCT Level 4 Certificate in Hair Colour Correction - VTCT Level 4 Award in Advanced Hair Styling
