Sixth Form Admissions

There will be a relaunch of Sixth Form provision for September 2026 at Stone Lodge School .

This will include a mix of level 2, vocational and academic level 3 courses.

This qualification is equivalent to two A levels.

2 Delivery of Engineering Processes Safely as a Team

3 Engineering Product Design and Manufacture

4 Applied Commercial and Quality Principles in Engineering

Group B Mandatory unit:

5 A Specialist Engineering Project

Group C unit:

60 Autonomous Mobile Robotics

Group D unit:

57 Sustainable Transport

Group E units:

10 Computer Aided Design in Engineering

44 Fabrication Manufacturing Processes

7 Calculus to Solve Engineering Problems

These units will be for the double award.

External and Internal assessments

Grade 9-5 in GCSE English Language or Literature

Grade 9-5 in GCSE Mathematics

Grade 9-5 or level 2 Merit in Engineering or DT related subject
