Course Summary

Studying Food Science and Nutrition in Key Stage 5 provides students with an engaging and hands-on opportunity to develop the practical skills and knowledge gained in GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition. The Level 3 Diploma in Food Science and Nutrition provides exciting, interesting experiences that focus learning for 16 - 19 year old learners through applied learning, i.e. through the acquisition of knowledge and understanding in purposeful, work-related contexts, linked to the food production industry. The course prepares students for further education in courses such as BSc Food and Nutrition, BSc Human Nutrition, BSc (Hons) Public Health Nutrition and BSc (Hons) Food Science and Technology
