General Sixth Form Entry Requirements: - Minimum 4 GCSE passes at Grade 4 and above to study BTEC or vocational courses; 5 GCSE passes at 4 and above to study A level/BTEC combination; 5 GCSE's at Grades 5 and above to study straight A Levels.

The specialist teachers in the department do make occasional changes to the selection of units of study, according to their own on-going geographical research interests, and also the feedback provided by students.
How will it be delivered and assessed?
All assessment takes place at the end of the course in year 2.
A level exam:
Paper 1-Two hours (35% of A level)
Paper 2-Two hours (35% of A level)
Paper 3-Coursework (30% of A level)
Entry requirements
Five GCSE 9-4 grades or equivalent.
Students should have a GCSE grade 4 in both English Language and Geography.
Students without GCSE, but a good background knowledge and enthusiasm will be considered on an individual basis.
