IB Digital Society SL

• Level 2 Pathway - For students who still need to resit their Mathematics and English Language GCSE's to gain a Grade 4 alongside Level 2 BTECs.
  
• Level 3 Vocational - For students who have gained a grade 4 in their Mathematics and English Language OR English Literature.
• IBCP Programme - For students gaining 5 GCSE's at Grade 4 and above including Mathematics and English Language.
• Sports Academies (Basketball/Football) - For students wishing to pursue Sport professionally alongside their studies. The academy must be taken in addition to one of the other three pathways on offer.

Number of subjects required:

• Level 3 Pathway - Please select three Level 3 courses (BTEC or RSL)
• IBCP Pathway - Please select two IB Diploma courses and two Level 3 Vocational courses (BTEC or RSL)

IB Digital Society - Equivalent to 0.5 A Level

Digital Society is a course designed for students who are interested in the impact and importance of digital systems and technology in the modern world, including data, algorithms, artificial intelligence, robotics and more.

There are 2 exams which are externally assessed and 1 internal assessment.

Exam Paper 1 (40%)

Exam Paper 2 (30%)

IA Report (20%)

You must have at least:

4 in GCSE English Language

4 in GCSE Mathematics

4 or equivalent in 3 additional subjects

University Degrees in: Business, Computing, Digital Technologies, ICT etc.

Employment in: Business analyst, Cyber intelligence, Data scientist, Forensic computer analyst, Project management, Software development etc.
