Application Instructions
- Level 2 Pathway - For students who still need to resit their Mathematics and English Language GCSE's to gain a Grade 4 alongside Level 2 BTECs.
- Level 3 Vocational - For students who have gained a grade 4 in their Mathematics and English Language OR English Literature.
- IBCP Programme - For students gaining 5 GCSE's at Grade 4 and above including Mathematics and English Language.
- Sports Academies (Basketball/Football) - For students wishing to pursue Sport professionally alongside their studies. The academy must be taken in addition to one of the other three pathways on offer.
Number of subjects required:
- Level 3 Pathway - Please select three Level 3 courses (BTEC or RSL)
- IBCP Pathway - Please select two IB Diploma courses and two Level 3 Vocational courses (BTEC or RSL)

Course Summary
IB Mathematics: Applications and interpretations - Equivalent to 0.5 A levels
The maths course aims to encourage students to solve real-world problems, construct them mathematically and interpret the conclusions. It recognises the increasing role of mathematics in a data-rich world.

How will it be delivered and assessed?
There are 2 exams which are externally assessed and 1 internal assessment.
Exam Paper 1 (40%)
Exam Paper 2 (40%)
IA Report (20%)
Entry requirements
You must have at least:
4 in GCSE English Language
4 in GCSE Mathematics
4 or equivalent in 3 additional subjects.
