This is an exciting new AAQ for those interested in the field of Mental Health which is a growth area and the content would be applicable both at a professional level as well as on a personal level. Some of the topics covered include:
Introducing mental health and wellbeing, the brain and body, factors influencing mental health and wellbeing, current practice around mental health, evolving perceptions of mental health in society and investigating activities for therapeutic purposes to support mental health. Learners will study five units over the two year course. This includes two mandatory exam units and two mandatory coursework (or NEA) units, as well as a final optional coursework unit.
Entry requirements
General entry requirements to study Level 3 qualifications at Hillview Sixth Form are Grade 4 or above in both English Language and Maths and in 3 other GCSE subjects.
Subject Specific Criteria:
GCSE Grade 4 or above in English Language, Maths and any Science. An APS of 4.25 or above.
