Course Summary

Join us for A-Level Psychology as we delve into the inner workings of the human mind. You will study and analyse human behaviour, giving you the opportunity to view the mind from a systematic and scientific perspective. You'll then understand how we can apply psychology to everyday life.

Course Details

You will use your intrigue and fascination for the human mind as a platform to start your journey into understanding what makes humans function. You will study and analyse human behaviour, giving you the opportunity to view the mind from a systematic and scientific perspective in a number of areas including behaviourism, psycho dynamics and individual differences. This active discipline will increase your awareness of how psychology can be applied to personal, social, academic and professional situations, and get you thinking and acting like a psychologist. You will explore topics including: * Social * Cognitive * Biological * Individual differences * Development * Psycho dynamics * Psychological research methods * Behaviourism

How will it be delivered and assessed?

Your assessments will be through 100% examinations, while undertaking regular practice examinations, along with individual and group activities.

Entry requirements

Our general entry criteria to study 3 A-Levels is: Minimum five GCSEs grade 4-9 with English Language or Maths at grade 5. For a mixed Level 3 programme the criteria are: Minimum five GCSEs grade 4-9 with English Language or Maths at grade 4. Subject specific entry criteria apply: A GCSE grade 4 in English Language, grade 5 in Maths, and a grade 4 in a Science subject.
