Course Summary

T Levels are brand new qualifications, and we're proud to be included in the second phase of launch with programmes starting in September 2021. This Health T level is a high quality, work focused alternative to A levels. It will provide you with the knowledge, skills and practical experience to progress into skilled employment, higher level technical training or into higher education in the health sector. You will learn core health and science concepts, build a solid understanding of working in the health environment, develop good clinical practice, learn how to manage information and data, and get to grips with and safety and environmental regulations. You will be assessed by external examination, employer-lead case study assessment, and through practical assessments both in the workplace and in simulated environments.

Entry requirements

For T Level Health and Social Care the entry criteria are a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 and above including maths and English, and Science GCSEs at Grade 5 or above.

Your next steps...

On successful completion of this T Level, you will be able to progress to undergraduate programmes in Health and Social Care. The College has a partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University, which offers 12 different undergraduate programmes in Health, including Medicine. MidKent College T Level students are guaranteed an interview at Canterbury Christ Church University if they apply to the Faculty of Health.
