Beauty Therapy is a fast-growing industry all about creativity, style and helping people look and feel their best. This Level 3 course is designed so you can specialise in a wide variety of beauty treatments and gain the skills and knowledge needed to start an exciting career. If you’re drawn to Beauty, you probably enjoy creating new looks, experimenting with design and seeing the results of your work. That’s why studying with us is the right choice, as you’ll gain an authentic experience of working in the beauty world. On this course, you will explore a wide range of treatments from advanced nail art to electrotherapy, and take part in practical sessions, client appointments and unique projects. As you develop your client care skills and build a portfolio of work, you will showcase your creativity and progress, so you are ready to move into a range of careers.

On this Level 3 Beauty Therapy course, you’ll develop advanced practical techniques that are sought after by clients and employers alike. You’ll cover exciting topics in our curriculum that ensure your skills are up to date, such as: • Electrotherapy • Lash Extensions • Nail enhancements • Advanced nail art • Microdermabrasion • Massage • Health and Safety • Client care • Reception skills You’ll also explore creative looks with many practical activities, learning how to respond to different client requests and develop your own style. Most of your clients will be found in our industry-standard commercial salon. This space gives you genuine experience using professional equipment and products while gaining confidence in a salon environment. Dedicated work experience opportunities will further strengthen your skills and give you valuable insight into the beauty industry, before you progress onto employment or further study.

All assessments are designed to showcase your practical skills and to ensure you’re ready for your next steps in the beauty industry. You’ll mainly be assessed with practical observations in our commercial salons, alongside written tasks and exams that check your understanding of professional techniques. Throughout the course, you’ll also build a portfolio of your work, giving you a visual record of your progress and achievements that you can use for future opportunities.

This study programme is designed to help you move quickly toward advanced jobs, higher education, or apprenticeship opportunities if you know what you want to do next and meet the entry requirements needed for success. Achieving a Level 3 qualification will improve your future earning potential and career choices. It also allows you to progress to Higher Education, Higher Apprenticeships, and Degree Apprenticeships. These can lead to roles like advanced technician or skilled supervisor at Level 3, and eventually to management or professional status as you continue your studies. To study at Level 3, including all T Level and A Level programmes, you will need an average entry score of 5.0 from your best 6 GCSE subjects, including English and Maths.

By building the ability to create polished, high-quality looks, you’ll be ready for a range of opportunities in today’s job market. Job roles progressed into include beauty therapists, product develops or spa technicians. You can also go onto further study in this area, such as a Level 4 qualification or several university degrees, where you will further enhance your skills.
