Gatsby Benchmark Resources

Gatsby Benchmark 1

A stable careers programme - Every school and college should have an embedded programme of career education and guidance that is known and understood by pupils, parents, teachers and employers.

Benchmark 1 provides the foundation for a careers provision across your institution, building a programme to help every young person find their next best step.

Developing a progressive careers programme shaped and driven by a strategic careers plan, and aligned to the school’s wider school improvement plan, enables students to make well informed decisions about education, training, apprenticeship & employment opportunities and supports them to cope with challenging labour market conditions.
